Horiup works because rooms stay calm. These rules apply to voice, text, photos, captions and profiles alike.
Keep it about the view
Rooms are themed. Talk about places, weather, light and the feeling of a moment. Off-topic promotion, recruiting and link-dropping get removed.
No harassment
No insults, threats, slurs, stalking, pile-ons or sexual pressure — including in private messages. Disagreeing about a place is fine; going after a person is not.
Nothing sexual or exploitative
No nudity, sexual audio, sex work solicitation, or any content involving minors. Accounts breaking this rule are removed permanently and reported where the law requires.
Post photos you have the right to post
Share your own scenery. Do not post other people's photos as yours, and do not photograph identifiable strangers who would object.
Protect locations and privacy
Never share someone's home, workplace or exact coordinates. Location tags are coarse by design — keep them that way.
No money, no gambling, no drugs
Do not ask other users for money, gifts or payment off-platform, and do not use rooms to sell regulated goods or run games of chance.
Be a real person
No impersonation, no bots, no bulk accounts, no artificial boosting of rooms or moments.
Reporting and what happens next
Every seat, moment and profile has report and block controls. Reports are reviewed daily by our safety team; urgent safety reports are prioritised.
Depending on severity we may warn, mute, remove content, close a room, or suspend the account permanently. You can appeal any decision at horiup@gmail.com.
Hosting a room
Hosts set the theme and moderate their own room: they can mute, remove and block. Hosting is a responsibility — repeatedly ignoring these rules in your room ends hosting access.
