Privacy Agreement

Horiup is a voice community for sharing scenery. We collect the minimum needed to run rooms, deliver moments and keep people safe — and we never sell your personal data.
1. What we collect
Account data: a nickname, avatar, date of birth (for age eligibility) and either a phone number, email address or third-party sign-in identifier.
Content you create: scenery photos, captions, comments, voice audio streamed in rooms, and optional coarse location tags you choose to attach.
Device and usage data: device model, OS version, app version, language, crash logs and basic interaction events used to diagnose problems.
Purchase data: transaction receipts from Apple or Google. We never receive or store your full payment card details.
2. Permissions we ask for
Microphone — only while you are in a voice room, and only when you hold a seat. Audio is streamed live and is not recorded unless a report requires a short safety buffer.
Photos and camera — only when you choose a scenery photo to post or swap.
Location — optional and off by default. If enabled, we use a coarse region (city level) to suggest nearby scenery, never a precise coordinate.
Notifications — optional, for room invitations, swap replies and moderation outcomes. You can revoke any permission in your device settings at any time.
3. How we use data
To operate the service (host rooms, deliver moments, sync your profile across devices), to keep the community safe (moderation, report review, abuse prevention), to fix bugs, and to process optional in-app purchases.
We do not use your voice audio or photos to train advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.
4. Who we share with
Service providers under contract: cloud hosting, real-time audio delivery, crash reporting and content-safety screening. They may process data only on our instructions.
Legal requests: we disclose data only where required by applicable law, and we tell affected users unless legally prohibited.
5. AI features
The AI scenery companion generates conversation prompts. The text of a prompt request may be processed by our AI provider to return a suggestion; prompts are not linked to advertising and are not used to identify you.
6. Retention
Profile and content data are kept while your account is active. Delete a moment and it is removed from the app immediately and purged from backups within 30 days. Delete your account and we remove your profile and content within 30 days, except records we must keep for safety or legal reasons.
7. Your choices
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw a permission, or delete your account from Settings → Account in the app. Where GDPR or comparable laws apply, you may also object to or restrict certain processing and lodge a complaint with your local authority.

8. Children
Horiup is intended for users aged 17 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn an account belongs to a younger user, we remove it.
9. Changes and contact
If we change this agreement materially, we notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
